A few days back, Ranveer Singh unveiled the official logo of ’83 which co-stars his real-life wife Deepika Padukone. But it’s YouTuber Bhuvan Bam who gave a double meaning twist to the Singh’s caption. Read it below
The makers of ’83 starring the ensemble cast of Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Harrdy Sandhu, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Amrita Puri, Ammy Virk, Chirag Patil, Jatin Sarna, Nishant Dahiya, Boman Irani and Pankaj Tripathi among others have been dropping the first look poster of the actors. As the film is scheduled to release on April 10, 2020, the makers have started teasing the fans with multiple posters and pictures. The makers started the buzz as the unveiled the official logo of ’83. But the YouTube sensation Bhuvan Bam has something to say about it.
Taking to Twitter when Ranveer Singh shared the logo and he captioned it, “It’s coming.” Bam gave a double meaning twist in the comment section and wrote, “That’s what she said.” Haha! Ranveer Singh led ’83 is a sports drama based on India's victory at the 1983 Cricket World Cup against West Indies. The film will see him essaying the role of former Indian skipper Kapil Dev and his wife Deepika Padukone would step into the shoes of his on-screen wife too as Romi Bhatia. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh has introduced two characters of the film till now. Tahir Raj Bhasin as The Little Master Sunil Gavaskar and Strokeplay Sensation! Jiiva as Krishnamachari Srikkanth.
On the occasion of Kapil Dev’s birthday, Ranveer Singh posted a picture of his first look from the film. In the snap, the actor was seen hitting it out of the ground as he aped Dev’s Natraj Shot like never before. Earlier, ’83 director Kabir Khan revealed to a leading section of media, Ranveer Singh broke down while shooting the victory scene in the film. It all had happened, when Ranveer was given the real World Cup trophy which was then won by the legendary cricketer himself, Kapil Dev, instead of a replica.
